Gauge
32 sts and 40 rows for 10cm x 10cm in plain stockinette
2.5 mm needles
Knitted fabric is firm
Cuff
Cast on 72 sts with A (red).
2×2 ribbing for 15 rounds.
Knit one round in stockinette.
Do not break yarn, you’ll need red very soon in the chart.
Leg
Knit chart, repeat 4 times across.

The bobble is worked as follow:
k1, yo, k1, turn
P tp end, turn
k to end, turn
sl1, k2tog, psso
After finishing the chart, you’ll have 64 sts.
Next work the stripes: do not cut yarn B (blue) after the chart, join yarn C (white) and knit 6 rows.
Then 6 rows yarn B, 6 rows yarn C and 6 rows yarn B.
Cut colour C but not colour B.
Heel
Join colour A (red) and knit the heel as follow:
Heel flap:
Knitted flat on the next 32 sts.
(1) (RS) sl1, k to end
(2) (WS) sl1, p to end
(3) [sl1, k1] to end
(4) sl1, p to end.
Repeat rows (3) (4) 14 more times (32 rows in total for the heel flap)
Turn heel:
(1) (RS) sl1, K18, SSK, K1, turn
(2) (WS) sl1, P7, P2tog, P1, turn
Next rows: Sl1, K or P to 1st st before gap, SSK or P2tog, K1 or P1, turn
Continue until all sts are worked.
Break colour A (red).
Pick up colour B (blue) where you left it and pick up 16 sts/side of the heel flap side (or more, to avoid holes), knit the heel flap stitches and pick up another 16 sts on the other side.
Back to working in the round.
Decrease gusset every other row: k1, ssk, knit to last 3 sts, k2tog, k1, until 32 sts on the sole.

Foot
Still with colour B (blue) knit 60 rows including gusset decreases rows (or the number of rows you need for the size you wish to make).
Cut colour B.
Toe
Toe is knitted with colour A.
Knit the chart below. It repeats 4 times across the sock.

Cut yarn, leaving enough to secure the 8 remaining stitches.
Weave in securely.
Done! ๐
Notes
Colourwork stretch – making sure it’s wide enough!
I’m knitting magic loop. I found that knitting the chart inside out really helped with the floats and the stretchiness.
On the second sock I did not catch my floats at all and I think it looked better.
I tryed on the sock after every row from row 11 to 16 to make sure I could get my foot in ^^
In case of trouble I would have used 2,75mm needles for the colourwork but in the end it worked fine with 2,5mm.
