Knit one round in stockinette.
Do not break yarn, you’ll need red very soon in the chart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Join colour A (red) and knit the heel as follow:
Heel flap:
Knitted flat on the next 32 sts.
(1) (RS) sl1, k to end
(2) (WS) sl1, p to end
(3) [sl1, k1] to end
(4) sl1, p to end.
Repeat rows (3) (4) 14 more times (32 rows in total for the heel flap)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Colourwork stretch – making sure it’s wide enough!<\/em>
I’m knitting magic loop. I found that knitting the chart inside out really helped with the floats and the stretchiness<\/a>.
On the second sock I did not catch my floats at all and I think it looked better.
I tryed on the sock after every row from row 11 to 16 to make sure I could get my foot in ^^
In case of trouble I would have used 2,75mm needles for the colourwork but in the end it worked fine with 2,5mm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A red: 28g in total, 12g for the cuffs, 3g for the colourwork, 6g for the heels, 7g for the toes
B blue: 42g in total, 9g for the colourwork and 33g for the stripes + feet
C white: 8.5g in total, 2.5g for the colourwork and 6g for the stripes
D variegated: 3g
